After-School Clubs

  • After-School clubs have formed for the first semester.  Keep an eye out for information about new clubs after the winter break.
  • Rio Grande Educational Collaborative (RGEC) is available for after-school childcare.  Please visit the RGEC website or call (505) 873-6035 for more information.

conflict mediators

  • Conflict is a natural human condition.  Recognizing that young people are competent to participate in the resolution of their own disputes encourages student growth and gives students skills - such as listening, critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are basic to all learning.
  • At Seven Bar, our Mediators assist all students in resolving their conflicts in a peaceful manner.  Seven Bar Mediators consist of 4th & 5th grade students who are selected by their peers and teachers.  Our Mediators participate in a 9 training hour to become certified in the mediation process.

shelf masters

  • 3rd, 4th & 5th graders come in during lunch recesses to do projects for the librarians. The projects can be putting books in their proper sections, cleaning, helping do Book Fair prep, stamping new books and other projects as the librarians find them.
  • Shelf Masters must fill out an application which includes parent and teacher permission to participat
